- Here are some key components as part of the Yoga and Ayurveda retreat:
- 1. Yoga Practices
Participants take part in daily yoga classes guided by experienced teachers. These sessions may include asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, and relaxation techniques.
The practices are designed to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, and overall mindfulness.
2. Ayurvedic Consultations
Each participant receives a personal Ayurvedic consultation to assess their individual constitution (dosha) and identify any imbalances. Based on the assessment, personalized guidance on diet, lifestyle habits, and suitable Ayurvedic therapies is provided to support overall wellness.
3. Ayurvedic Workshops and Learning
The retreat includes informative workshops and discussions covering Ayurvedic philosophy, nutrition, herbal remedies, and daily lifestyle practices. Participants gain a practical understanding of Ayurveda and how its principles can be applied in everyday life.
4. Ayurvedic Treatments
Participants will have access to Ayurvedic treatments during the retreat. These may include Abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage), Shirodhara (gentle oil flow on the forehead), Panchakarma (Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation therapies), and other traditional Ayurvedic body treatments.
5. Mindfulness and Self-Reflection
Guided meditation sessions are incorporated throughout the retreat to encourage self-awareness, inner reflection, and personal growth.
Through the integration of yoga and Ayurveda, this retreat aims to offer a holistic experience that supports physical well-being, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual development.
While Ayurveda is the primary focus of this retreat, daily yoga asana and pranayama practices are also included to help cultivate balance and harmony. For asana practice, the school emphasizes Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
Participants follow a schedule of 6 training days with 1 rest day each week. During the rest day, the school arranges a half-day excursion for students. Excursions may include visits to sacred sites in or around Rishikesh and the Himalayan region.
The rest day is usually scheduled on a Sunday, although it may be moved to a weekday to avoid festivals, special events, heavy tourist activity, or traffic in Rishikesh. School-organized excursions are included in the retreat fee, and destinations are selected by the school.

Early check-in is possible only if room is available, ready and requested in advance before arrival. Early check-in would be possible only starting from 09:00 onwards. They usually keep rooms available on the first day of the course, so students can check-in when they arrive in the morning.
